Don't have much to say about this, except that it's a sad and lovely album that you all should hear if you haven't already.

I was introduced to this a few months back and agree.

For the uninitiated she is/was a German folk singer-songwriter who recorded this material at home on a reel-to reel recorder. I think it was unearthed by J Mascis at some point in the last decade who put it out on his label.

Anyhow, it's plaintive, melancholic, sparse and beguiling. Somewhere between Nico and Judee Sill.
