koeman

Nottingham Forest. But the encouragement is appreciated.

Ah. New page. Looks a bit daft now.

Morrison Lard

Looking very much like a West Ham goal is on its way.

Eis Nein

I know full well, koeman. I genuinely like Forest, only sing that song due to the scansion, and in this case want the Gravy Boat Captain and his dismal cloggers to fail; on the other hand, I'm a dick who can't resist a cheap wind-up.

and yet tim sherwood is alive and well! go figure.

Gooners eating their own!

Morrison Lard

YES! Have that Fat Sam and your team of shite!

Eis Nein

West Ham could look worse, they just can't be bothered.

Eis Nein

The moment I post, TV cuts to a weeping 8 year old Hammer.

I didn't do that to him, merely laughed at his predicament. That's all.

Queneau

Why is Peter Barlow commentating on this Notts Forest game?

Droylsden are in cost-cutting mode and are fielding teams full of kids, while our starting XIs are made up of players with plenty of Conference and Football League experience. So I reckon we win your dubious honour.

Despite us only having five points between us, neither of us have - or will - change managers. Our owner insists our boss is, I quote, "the right man for the job" (it's more to do with the fact he hired him 18 months ago without consulting anyone on the board, and how he won't admit his ego-trip was misjudged now it's all gone tits up), while over at Droylsden, the owner is the manager[nb]and a cunt[/nb].

Yesterday was the first time since I can remember that I didn't even follow our game. Going to the cinema instead and checking the inevitable scoreline at 6pm made for a much more bearable Saturday afternoon.

Do Hyde still have links with that Glenn Hoddle academy thing? I seem to remember Vale getting a player or two from you via that.

Anyway, for those with teams still in the FA Cup, who do you want in the next round? I bet we get Yeovil or Barnsley away (if we get past Plymouth).

Morrison Lard

Wowzers.

Pato.

4-0.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

Eis Nein

Game should be abandoned. Forest'll be experimenting with Goal of the Season contenders soon, formations, mazy solo runs.

Squink

I wonder if Forest fans regret not turning up to this? Or are all those empty seats par for the course at the City Ground these days?

This ones great. Some harmless banter.

did you think I was making some silly Arsenal/Tottenham point? I don't have a horse in either race, and think every clubs supporters behave the same way

Lunchtime KO, on TV wouldn't have helped, especially knowing Billy Davies's habit of fielding weaker sides in cup matches.

Average is about 24k

Any lack of fervour is endemic to the competition. Liverpool aren't being televised; I haven't even found a stream. Can't remember that happening.

Surprised it's not on anywhere
Weird one that, considering the last cup meeting between the two.

Morrison Lard

Oh my.

You fucking wonderful bastards!

edit... bugger. the link was for audio only.

Queneau

Is the United/Swansea game the other one on today then? Assume it's a BT jobby.

Yes, I sort of realised that after I'd risen to the bait. Damn it.

Very much enjoyed that. Must be curtains now for big Sam.

Yeah, BT Sport,  Derby v Chelsea in 15 mins on there too

Eis Nein

A couple of decent managers pushed out unfairly recently, Hammers could be lucky.

Same with Everton yesterday - had to rely on audio only - reminded me of the early-mid 80s when i was a kid, cos that's all we had back then.

Queneau

Notts. Forest V Ipswich (or Preston)

Morrison Lard

Who did Aston Villas get?

Oh yeah, of course. Silly me.

Need to raise my game.

Bit confused about why ITV picked that Forest v West Ham game. I mean, it was fun watching West Ham be absolutely dismal but did they really think that'd be a more interesting game than, say, Macc v Sheff Weds?

Exciting tie out of the hat/bag/perspex drum in the Fourth Round:

QuoteBirmingham or Bristol Rovers or Crawley v Manchester United or Swansea

I doubt it. Not yet, at least. West Ham have got a League Cup semi-final this week and a relegation battle going on. Great job from Forest, but I don't think West Ham cared about this game at all for obvious reasons.

George Oscar Bluth II

Yeah, if they beat Cardiff next weekend Sam'll be ok. That's what matters to the board.
