There's a The Great Gatsbyishness about that, but I don't think it is.

Frazer

Nope, clue: it's set at the opposite side of the country to Gatsby.

Yep definitely the former. Magnum Force's pool was rounded.

Nope. Need to be a little further south (at least for that bit of the film), and a little more contemporary for the setting.

Johnny Townmouse

It reminds of the cave slaughter scene in Fistful of Dynamite/Duck You Sucker, but I don't think that's right.

Closer than any western (as in cowboys) suggestion

EDIT: clarification

Famous Mortimer

Walk away boy. Walk away.

The film is set in North and Central America.

Blumf

Closer than the cowboys and sedate nature films

Is it an alien film, or SF in some way?

Or a comedy?

Aces - Only saw that quite recently for the first time. Very different from what I was expecting, almost goes full on X-Files in the middle

Anyway here's mine, can't work out if it's waaaaay too easy or waaaay too hard !

It's actually my laptop desktop-wallpaper. Love the colours in the darkness (especially after moving from a super compressed DVD version to this HD one)

Johnny Townmouse

Lynch? I'll go for Lost Highway.

mcbpete

Sooooo close - I thought it was probably too easy.
