Small laptop/notebook thing for word processing.

Please recommend one. I only need it for typing and being able to move that to a bigger laptop.

Design spec:

- real keyboard not a touch screen
- as small as possible (but ok for sausage fingers).
- would be good if the battery can last for a long time. I could plug it in if I have to.

Couldn't easily find one and got lost in a range of expensive netbooks. :0)

If you're not fussed about buying second-hand, ebay has many netbooks for well under a hundred quid.

Have you considered tablet + bluetooth keyboard?

Why doesn't Canonical sell some cheap, ARM based netbooks with Ubuntu Mint on them? There's a gap around the 100-200 quid point they could fill.
