Did you ever see Disaster Movie? Neither a comedy or a parody, it's simply endless references to other things without making any jokes or comments about them. One reference after another for 90 minutes. It's essentially a trick to make you think they're being funny without actually doing anything.

But you're missing something BoC- they make money.

Anyway I don't see them lasting that much longer as the movie market fragments and the Internet and television do more parody stuff.
