Ooh Ooh, can i get one?

I am using Soulsk at present for range of electronic tunage there but would appreciate any other outlets to feed my needs!!

Thanks

Utter Shit

Anyone found anywhere good for British TV and radio to replace TheBox yet? I just want to be able to keep episodes of Chain Reaction and The Unbelievable Truth for fuck's sake, why is the BBC so insistent on retaining their hold over shows they have no interest in making any money off or ever playing again?

olliebean

If it's recently broadcast BBC programmes you're after, get_iplayer generally does the job.

I don't suppose anyone has an invite for some sort of torrent sharing site please?

I'm looking for things like Bester Call Sawl, NOrth Park - that sort of foreign tele thing - and flims.  Oh, and musak if possible.

My stats from other sites have disappeared but I can provide you with evidence of a 1:1 ratio (1.22TB up, 1.22TB down) from a 'rasslin site if that helps proves my credentials. Y'all know anyway that I wouldn't lie in this particular sub-forum.

Many thanks in advance if anyone can hlep.

Puce Moment

I assume you have tried kickasstorrents?

Phil_A

Could anyone be so kind as to furnish me with a cinemageddon invite? I used to be a Power User over there until the rotten bastards purged me.

I don't think there's anywhere else I'm going to be able to get hold of "Demon Cop", either in physical form or otherwise(and believe me, I have looked in all the usual places.)

Yes, with a modicum of success.  Would appreciate a more inclusive approach.

I think my BASTARD ISP is blocking my torrents. I installed CyberGhost because they were complaining about my use of the service and noticed everything slowed down web-wise. I'm using TPB and Vuze but everything is showing as No seeders/no leechers. Even when it did show as 5000+ seeders it would trickle in slowly.

Soon as my year contract is up off to the *other BASTARD ISP to try my luck there.

*Yes, there are only two, something of a bugbear for me and everyone else here. I'm hoping the FCC's recent decision to class the Internet as a Class II utility means I'll get more choice in my location.

Sure thing, PM me your email address. I was really surprised yesterday to see Demon Cop is actually available on a proper UK DVD, though it's now way out of print.

Are you using the free version of Cyberghost? It doesn't allow P2P unless you buy the full version.

I've pretty much switched exclusively to upload sites now, the speeds are comparable to torrenting anyway and there's no risk of being caught.

Can you recommend any?

Small Man Big Horse

tv-release.net/ is decent for most mainstream shows / films, it's worth visiting often though as some files get pulled after a few days.

VegaLA

Cheers Unicorn. Yes, I did pay for their 1 PC service but since you mentioned this I tried Vuze with Cyberghost closed and what do you know. I'm seeing some yellow and blue smilies on the side of Vuze so it looks like they want more cash off me!

Thanks SMBH...gonna give that site a try.

2ddl.link is the one I mainly use, along with JDownloader to ease multi-part downloads. Still using torrents for the most part though, as it's a lot easier to automate downloads of new episodes.

Yep, I use that one too. They always have 720p and 1080p rips of the latest shows and blurays. The pop-up pages are a pain and you have to know the right buttons to click on, but it's a minor inconvenience. The Mega, Uptobox and Hugefiles links tend to be the fastest (uptobox is blocked in the US so I have to use cyberghost if I'm getting stuff from there). There are a fair few sites with large databases of bluray rips too (mostly YIFY rips).

For music I always use soulseek.

Small Man Big Horse

I like Hugefiles the most, it's speedy and the links aren't too tricksy to find, unlike on some sites, though Mega, Filecloud and 180Upload tend to be okay too.

http://rapidmoviez.com/ is another decent site, and if you do a bit of googling you can find a fair few decent forums / blogs which specialise in various genres, though a few of my favourites have disappeared recently. Oh, and PlanetSuzy.org is quite good for...other...reasons...

Garam

Big hit on sites in the last day or so it seems. Can anyone recommend me a good site? I used KAT proxy, now i can't...

weekender

Still painful for me too.

Only really want the last couple of Better Call Saul, unless anyone can tell me which UK channel is broadcasting them?

Dropshadow

Can you people whose ISP's block torrent sites still access "aggregating" search-engines like
http://torrentz.eu/
https://getstrike.net/torrents/
... ?

I've been getting some strange results recently on Kickass. The number of torrents for any one particular show are decreasing all the time. For instance, The Walking Dead. I've just input "the walking dead s05e15" (the latest part) and I get 2 results. Episode 14 (last weeks!) - no results. Same with episode 13. Yet if I use "Strike", say, I'm spoilt for choice.

madhair60

kickassproxy dot co still seems to work for me, ditto proxybay dot info.

El Unicornio, mang

thepiratebay.se is still up, I'm guessing it requires a proxy or VPN in the UK though

Hat FM

does anyone have an invite for a good music torrenting site? Pirate bay doesn't seem to have much stuff on there anymore.

Big Jack McBastard

It might have already been mentioned but while a lot of links in https://torrentz.eu/ are blocked, the 'Torcache' magnet links (usually at the bottom of any/every set of results now) will link you straight to the magnet data and thus Torrentz becomes a whole hell of a lot more useful once again.

It seems largely forgotten software, but Soulseek is still very busy with new and old music uploads constantly. I find it far more suited to music downloads than torrents, which are more useful for larger files.

i never really understood how soulseek works.  i will take a look tonight...

El Unicornio, mang

You basically get access to all of the folders on a person's computer that they have selected when they set it up. When you search you can filter by download speed, bitrate, etc too which is useful.

Soulseek is definitely the best way to get your hands on music and also to expand on it a bit, as said with the files access.

Is there anything out there better than KA at the moment? I would like to get Nick Broomfield's TOTGS, but i cannot find it [nb]illegaly[/nb]anywhere!!?

alan nagsworth

Soulseek is indeed brilliant. I went back to it recently because I remembered all the fantastic bootleg concert videos I used to find there. I have a what dot cd account but I wanted to keep my ratio sweet over there and only use it when I want high quality guaranteed, mainly for electronic stuff and new album leaks, which is one of the things what dot cd is so vigilantly reliable for.

It was great to go back to soulseek and see that it hasn't changed at all in its basic user interface since I first discovered it about ten years ago. Really bare-bones and easy to use, and the chat rooms are largely pretty helpful if you have any specific requests that you can't find. Hard to believe it's still going.

I have a couple of invites to Torrentday. It's decent with a fairly reasonable ratio system. As long as you seed, you accrue bonus points that you can then convert to upload credit. Seeding's pretty responsive too, my ratio's mental.

Nothing by way of music though.

If anyone else wants one just pm me.
