Who knew that we needed a dub reggae version of Moby - Go?

Jam and Spoon, that's who.

Definite house territory, but Ian Pooley's Excursions compilation is excellent (as are many of the Excursions compilation)

Frankie Knuckles - Tears -> Janet Rushmore - Joy -> Ron Trent & Chez Damier - 54

speaking of which, Chez Damier - Help Myself...don't know which version I prefer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeEb65pIRRQ

or sloooow

This is house, Chez Damier - Can You Feel It (MK Remix)

Even better on the same theme

Fun fact - this version is sung by Janey Lee Grace from Steve Wright's afternoon posse on Radio 2

Sarah Cracknell sung the vocal on the OG

I thought there was a subtle difference :)

Continuing my journey through 1995 techno, I stumbled on this little beauty. Plink Plonk was actually quite a good label, what with LA Synthesis and everything.

All very pleasant, especially like the Clark tune.

I didn't know who he was, but having had a look i should have done.

And he put out this beauty (which has featured in this thread before)

Ross 154 - Fragments

The groove on this really reminds me of an early 80s tune, but I can't think what.

I bought the first 4 of 5 releases on Eevolute and there was one I track loved, but looking through them on Discogs I can't find the one - I'm sure it had vocals in it, maybe in that pitched down Chicago style of the late 80's. Perhaps I'm confused with something else.

Not Dutch, But Derrick May's edit of John Rocca - I Want It To Be Real (Farley's Hot House Piano) was bootlegged on this label

This Ross 154 track was ubiquitous back in the day
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fw2iiikdk7Q

but this is my favourite, a fuzzy melancholia with Detroit bleeping through the fug

I think we've had this before, but seeing as it popped up on my recommendations sidebar (Seeing Sense by Luke Slater's 7th Plain)

House track, but revisited this one from 1999 about 50 times in the last week. Absolutely gorgeous, using the same sample as ATCQ -The Love.

I knew the Carl Craig remix of Theo Parrish's Falling Up, and very good it is too. The original though, blimey.

I'd so forgotten about Falling Up, especially the ubiquitous CC mix.

I love Theo's disco edits

Particular guilty pleasure of mine.

Although Technophobia by Bass Reaction and Crank It Up by Scooter take some beating.

If you like Technophobia you'd probably like all of Scott Brown's tracks from 1994/95 as there all variations on the same theme (Techno of the bouncy variety, much beloved in Scotland and Holland).

Carl Craig remixes in general are great - here's a good one:

The original, by Gavin Russom and Delia Gonzalez, is great too, though it's not really techno.

Posted in an earlier thread I think (accompanied by the obvious cries of 'electro!'), but one of my favourite tunes.

A largely ambient, otherworldly album, but this track by International Debris from his Another Setting Sun is kind of mid-90s retro false ejaculate techno...i.e. it threatens up until the apparent climax before pulling back

https://internationaldebris.bandcamp.com/track/eclipse

jobotic

yeah that Der Zyklus is fantastic, and I only heard it for the first time last year when I "discovered" Drexciya. Clown.

Some good Kompakt stuff here. I mainly know Gas and Ulf Lohmann, oh and DJ Koze. I do like this though

Back to 1994 for this from Darren Price et al. (Centuras - Red Shift) - check out the change of tack around 4:30.

Kinetix records was the first 'techno' label that I collected as it featured much of Jake Stephenson's output. This is from the on 12" I don't own.
