Hey Blods! You heard this? Proper beautiful.

https://youtu.be/Eg7TtSBR1sA

just checked my iTunes and I have that album, but don't remember listening to it. Rectifying that now. A bit minimal for my taste, but I'll give it a run through.

Apologies if this has been posted before, just hearing them for the first time this evening. LIKE!

Just grabbed a whole slew of Cherushii (RIP) tracks and loving this slice of acid techno house

Also my favourite techno album has had a makeover (much needed as the original was not well mixed). Hopefully I can finally convert some people on here (Future Beat Alliance - Disconnected)

Spirits lifted by the effervescent Larry Heard (1994!) - worth getting a high quality version of this if you don't own a copy (as heard on this mix - http://www.astrangelyisolatedplace.com/blog/2019/3/12/isolatedmix-87-seahawks-celestial-voyage)

Never really known anything about techno, but have recently done some looking into it and have found I really like some of it. Looking forward to digging into this thread properly. I've got no interest in clubbing or dancing so I'm probably the ultimate poseur here but fuck it I like the sounds.

I like this murky sort of dreamy Delroy Edwards stuff, if that belongs in here?

Absolute genius, who'd have thought acid could be this emotional?

If anyone would recommend any other stuff like this i'd appreciate that

Reminds me of 'The Railway Raver'

(and of course all these guys just wanted to be Mr Fingers/Larry Heard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeiH9Mm0E5Y )

Well I thought I had heard all of the main emotional IDM artists from the classic era, but Theorem seems to have bypassed me, stunning:

It has (or at least a couple of tracks from it). Truly one of the best techno albums of all time, imho.

After many EPs, mixes and remixes the first album from Paula Temple is out tomorrow: Edge Of Everything

From it, Raging Earth. Cavernous.

The new Norken EP blows me away - especially this track

Classic 90s UK IDM vibe

Luke Slater released a remix EP of his classic early track Love recently

Here is a remix by Scuba
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMn36odw7Pk

and the untoppable original
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vk_NcZDFxUc

(a melancholy washes over me - we both bought that album serendipitously [neither having heard of Luke Slater before] for each other for our first and only Christmas together back in 1997).

The best things in life are free... on the cover of a magazine. Yeah, it's a tad housey - until it isn't...

When Cosmic Baby tried his hand at techno. Mostly acid, the last one is more electro (which I don't apologise for)...

I'm currently really into Underworld's Drift project, where they release new material every Thursday, over the course of a year.

Today's release, for example, is Border Country, a collaboration with Ø [PHASE].

Can someone just give me a selection of bangin tunes? Relentless, fast, heavy sounds? Hardly any dance/electronic/techno scratches that itch because I know bugger all about music genres and I dont go to clubs or dance because fuck that.

Just pure hard bangers please. Get my brain exploding and my blood pumping.

Just stick Jeff Mills' 'Changes Of Life' on a loop.

Plenty of ways to go on that. I have an acid bias. Some of these might be too slow for you. Unfortunately YT/mp3 compression removes some of the oomph on lower frequencies. Best get the originals (good luck finding the FAX vinyls).

Sort of Techno Punk.

Folks, anyone who tells you hard banging techno has no soul, range or creativity is a cunt.
