Oh what a fucking suprise that something like this got dredged up.

king mob

Might have realised it was fucking Matt Drudge

http://www.drudgereport.com/

Its the site that broke the story & was also the site that broke the Clinton "scandal".

It's got a history of trumping up shit against Democrats, hasn't it.  Still not as bad as taking coke and getting done for drink driving though.

I'm sure I heard a story once upon a time about Bush Jr getting a hispanic maid pregnant and then paying for the abortion in the 1970 (or should it be in this thread?).

Please feel free to remove if libellous

king mob

Theres also a story that Bush knocked down & killed someone when drunk driving just after his military service.

Theres loads of stories like that but if this is the best the extreme right can do then they're even more scared that i thought.

Is a pretty good source for Bush tales & documents pertaining to his dodgy past.

I've just this second returned from a photoshoot with a relative of John Kerry.  He sounds like a decent enough chap.  The family are braced for scared Bush-ites ttrying to dig stuff up but he genuinely sounded like there wasn't anyhting to find.  Apparently, he's just a really motivated, liberal bloke.

Whats more fun are the headlines on the left

QuoteHusband Calls Police After Seeing His Wife In Internet Porn Film
A man in Greece went wild when he watched a porn film on the internet - and noticed that the woman featured on it was his wife. He immediately called the police who got the footage removed from public view.
His wife had secretly filmed her and her lover having sex but the tape found its way onto the internet after the lover accidentally discovered it and put it on a free access porn website.
He has since been found to have done the same with other unconsented film clips and has been charged under a 'sensitive personal information' act.

QuotePig Lard To Be Used As Anti-Terror Measure
Police in Israel are planning on using pig lard to deter Palestinians from carrying out suicide attacks on public buses, shopping malls and schools. Bags of the pork fat, considered impure by both Muslims and Jews, will be hung in vunerable places.
The theory is that would-be bombers may not carry out their attacks if they knew that they may not be assured a place in paradise because their exploding flesh could get contaminated with the 'dirty' pig remains.

All good fun.

The world will be a much safer place without Bush and his oil elite supporters.

I like the woman almost loses breat in chainsaw story.

I like this one

QuoteShoplifter Killed by Store Employees
A shoplifter has died in hospital after employees of an electronics store held him for authorities to arrive.
Kelowna RCMP are investigating if excessive force was used by the employees. Police said the suspect was "violent and combative."

An autopsy is to determin whether the store employees face charges.

Last time i haggle at Richer Sounds then.

This has almost nothing to do with the thread but has anyone else noticed how much Kerry sounds like Grandpa from the Simpsons?

It would be, if the next Prezident wasn't financed by the same people...

That's a great source for bizarre news:

QuoteWoman Almost Loses Breast In Chainsaw Stunt

German actress and former porn star Sibylle Rauch almost lost one of her breasts during a rehersal for a show. Her stage partner, Marko Koenig, was supposed to shear through her bra with a chainsaw but mis-judged and cut into one of her breasts.

According to Koenig, Rauch suddenly bent forwards as he was about to cut off her bra. "I couldn't pull back the chainsaw quickly enough and cut her breast and stomach. It was terrible," he said.

She was rushed to hospital in Karlsruhe, south-western Germany but no further details of her injuries were released.

The Bush camp have been searching frantically for someone to provide a first hand account as to the extent of Bush's National Guard service.

Unfortunately the only person willing to say anything positive was this chap.  He was quoted as saying Bush was actually a bit of a tosser but did a cracking Elmer Fudd impression.

Very true, although the Bush family connection with the oil industry goes back 75 years...

Kerry doesn't have that "heritage".

update

And on the weird news front

QuoteCastro Has A Laugh Courtesy Of Foot-In-Mouth Bush
Fidel Castro used a 4 hour 20 minute speech to 1,400 economists to ridicule President Bush and the many public gaffes that he has made. The Cuban leader said "Bush could not debate a Cuban ninth grader, who knows more than he does."
Pouring scorn on US attempts to ousting the revolutionary figurehead, Castro used the opportunity to quote many of the Bush foul-ups, leaving the audience in fits of laughter.
Included were: "I will have a foreign-handed foreign policy"; "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family"; "More and more of our imports come from overseas"; and "The most important job is not to be governor, or first lady in my case".

Dr. Gizmonic

My favourite is still "I have been a government for a long time".

Anyway, the entire US system is flawed and they WILL keep doing exactly what they want, when they want and for whoever they want no matter who's Commander-in-Chief. The world will only be in relative safety again when either America is split up into smaller nation state or has been around long enough to learn from their mistakes. I just hope there's enough world left to appreciate that when it happens.

The only way stability will occur is when there are other power blocks to match the US. This will happen (EU when Russia joins; China+other Asian countries), but not for 10 years or so. Until then, expect more instability as the US shores up its powerbase in preparation for its inevitable decline. Oil + trade the main issues, corporations the main motivators. It's true that corporations have bought both parties, but I think it's a fair comment that the military aggressiveness of the US is worse with Republican Presidents.

One has to question the ethics of a country that spends half a trillion dollars per year on death & destruction...

king mob

Some updates on this, the woman accused is denying all the claims-click here.

The latest stunt is a piss poor bit of photoshopping to smear Kerry.

didn't they say the cold war was a period of great stability? MAD and all that? who wants another cold war. the world needs stability through a new, stronger  and more decisive UN and controls on arms.

The Drudge report seems to be really taking the piss now:

QuoteKERRY MYSTERY WOMAN DATED CAMPAIGN FINANCE CHIEF

**Exclusive**

A woman at the center of John Kerry intrigue dated longtime Kerry Finance Director Peter Maroney, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

And then they launch into re-repeating the 'evidence' about the Kerry-Polier 'affair'. Actually, come to think of it, that article doesn't even seem to say it was Polier who dated the campaign finance chief, it just seems to be careful to give that impression without actually saying it.

And some more!

John Kerry accused of being a goddamn hippy peacenik

Fucking hell, is there nothing those cunts won't stoop to? He won medals for heroism in war, and they accuse him of being a coward. This is absolutely disgraceful.

Go on, justify THIS Mr Custard.

How can the UN be stronger with one superpower?

Theres an interesting article in todays Guardian about what a Kerry victory may mean for Blair.

king mob

Theres a nice little competition the Guardian are running in light of the Kerry/Fonda pic where they ask if anyone can do similar or better.

Currently the biggest rogue state, by far, is untouchable. I suspect it'll be a limited problem, however, as either Kerry will greatly diminish the US $0.5 trillion military budget and/or economic collapse will force Kerry/Bush to do so. The US is punching way above its weight, and its economic fundamentals are appalling.

It's also amazing how much of the USA's superpower status is perceived - i.e. psychological. The Europeans talk down their 450 million people Union (soon to increase by 80 million), whereas the Yanks massively talk up their 290 million people empire. The US is perceived almost as a God-like infinite power, when in reality, let's not forget, its population is only three times that of Germany, or double that of Japan.
