A bit bum. I knew he was getting old but I didn't realise he had Alzheimer's. Anyway, I'm not sure if anyone here would have been into Car Talk, but my dad got me into it when I was a kid and I listened to the 'best of' tapes a lot, despite having no interest in cars. I haven't listened for a while but I associate it with just being a really nice and warm and friendly thing to listen to.
