Drupal advice
« on: November 14, 2014, 08:51:44 AM »
Hello folks,

I recently bought a domain name via 123 Reg, and would like to host the site via Drupal. I've used it at work so know how to develop the site once it is installed, but I was wondering:

a) Does anyone have experience with Drupal and know how to connect it to a domain?

b) Has anyone used 123 Reg and do they know how to attach it to Drupal?

I tend to learn as I go along, so any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's a two step thing:

1) Point the name at the server's IP using 123 Reg's DNS tool
2) Configure the web server to respond to requests for that domain

Not sure where you're getting your drupal hosting, but anywhere should provide the tools needed for (2).
