I'd like something new and wonderful, and imagine you chumps must be able to offer up some goodies.

I like black and white photos of influential punk bands, such as this:

And beautiful science phenomena. And stunning natural beauty. And Rachel Riley.

"Are you sure you want to replace your desktop wallpaper?"

I've had a slightly different version of this as my background for about three years. I don't think I'll ever change it.

Why is she wearing a skirt, but not a top?

Why does she have extra blond hair, but is also covered in fur?

This has been mine for a good few months, by an Aussie photographer called Trente Park

other backgrounds i've had in the last year or two...

Basquiat painting... - http://arts-wallpapers.org/pop-art-wallpapers/jean-michel-basquiat/04/Jean-Michel-Basquiat-Wallpaper-16001200.jpg

Old memorabilia related to Kowloon Walled City architecture. I'd crop a bit, stick it on the background, change it up now and then.

Fascinating though - I spent hours reading this website yesterday after you posted that desktop background.

Highlights from that video include the two 'not-arsed shit costumes' at 2:27 and the weird zoom in on a female leopard character[nb]Or 'fursona' as I learnt they are called yesterday[/nb] at 4:03.

Yes, stumbled upon this weird underworld back in the late 90s when looking up Eric W. Schwartz's work, as I was a big fan of his Amiga animations and drawing style as a kid but wasn't aware of the whole 'furries' thing. I think he's actually even doing a hardcore porn furry drawing website now, not really my kind of thing and it all feels a bit weird and seedy to me and it seems a shame he isn't doing more traditional animation anymore.

Anyway, youtube has tons of videos from the whole furry world, fashion shows, dance compeitions, endless parades, there was even a recent news story where a fire drove out a bunch of furries into the cold, and there's Furries: An Inside Look. It's obviously similar to the whole Bronies thing, and as they say it's all between consenting adults so what's the problem? I'm sure people have a lot of fun at those conventions, it's a great subject matter to be voyeuristic about but I still find it all a bit fucking weird.

Nice. I almost don't want to know how Joker has a face again at this point.

Mine is a larger version of this:

Because Garo is an awesome show, but I also love Keita Amemiya's art when he does pictures like this

Here are a couple that fulfil the criteria.[nb]Being a bit loose with the definition of 'punk'.[/nb] (Too large for this forum.)

The Clash

Public Image Ltd.

Iggy Pop

The Specials

The 'Music Archive' on Urban Image is a very good place to find the sort of images you want.
