[Inspired by the news that bloke out of 808 State has ended up imprisoned because he was broke and his dealer sent him out to work.]

Has anyone done any research on what usually happens to ex-band members? I know a lot of them just get regular jobs, some in the industry (management etc) and some have massive breakdowns, but what is the relative likelihoods? What does Being In A Band offer in long term occupational health terms.
