Musical dilemas

I was sent a copy of Evan Dando's version of "Knowing Me, Knowing You" during the week, which is bloomin' lovely and it's made me drag out my Lemonheads CDs. Now, I've got all of them up to "Car Button Cloth", but I can't make my mind up about which out of "It's a Shame About Ray" or "Come on Feel..." to listen to.

Could I ask for a quick show of hands to help me make up my mind please?

Feel free to add your own musical dilemas.

Ciarán2

Go for "Come On..."

Which prog-rock album should I buy next? "Folkjokeopus" by Roy Harper, "In The Land of Grey And Pink" by Caravan, "The Snow Goose" by Camel, "The Flying Teapot" by Gong or "Matching Mole" by Matching Mole?

Fuckwittio

Go for Matching Mole.

My dilemma is: is it really worth my while bidding £80 for Faust's So Far on ebay when it's only my third favourite album by them and I got my first two together for half the price?

You can buy that in Tower in Dublin for about €25, i know there are Dubliners here, maybe they'd send it to you. No, it isn't worth 80 quid on e-bay.

Yeah, but I'm talking about an original vinyl copy with all the art prints for each track. I've already got a CD copy.

OK, so I'm a sad bastard. I paid £80 for Metal Box last month, so I have more money than sense. My mates weren't pleased:

"You paid £80 for a fucking record?"
- "Nooo, I paid £80 for 3 12" singles in a round metal tin!"
"You fucking retard. You know there's starving kids in Africa etc. etc. etc."
- "Yeah, but it's an original. I'll never get it for that cheap again!"
"Twat."

I didn't buy the Faust LP after all. Fuck it, there's starving children in Africa etc. etc.

I really cannot wait for the day when I can say that.

If you have twice as much money then sense, then go for it.

£80.00? Bugger! Mine only went for about £40-odd a few months back. Maybe I should've put "L@@K, R@RE" in the item description.
