Decent video game streamers (Twitch, YouTube, whatever)

Are there any video game streamers/let's play-people out there who aren't annoying as absolute piss? PewDiePie can die in a fire, he's the least funny human on earth.

I don't really watch Let's Plays generally but managed to get through a few of these guys Let's Play/Drown Out episodes without stabbing screwdrivers in my ears.

I don't really watch them either other than Videogamer's livestreams, but I like Voidburger, for her silent hill stuff https://www.youtube.com/user/VoidBurger/videos

Most people at the LP Archive are solid at the least. Personal favourites would be Chip & Ironicus (who do a fantastic job running through Metal Gear/Suda51 stuff), Davidspackage (try Hopkins FBI) & and on YT there's XCOM specialist Beaglerush.

Easy way to keep to the better stuff is to stick with the Somethingawful/LP Archive crowd, as the community there tends to be much more exacting and won't stand for a lot of the typical YT shite. You'll still find a few you won't get on with, but the general standard is much higher.

EpicNameBro's doing a thorough Bloodborne play-through and really knows his stuff. Disclosure is that he worked on the official guide for the game too, but it's clear he's having fun going through it and not missing anything. I also used to watch Northernlion play Isaac every now and then just to zone out.

Errant Signal is one of the best analysis channels I've seen on youtube, also Matthewmatosis has done some very good ones focusing on the Zelda/3D mario series as well as a great abridged playthrough of Demon's Souls. I also liked this guy's LP of Deadly Premonition

Only recently started watching Northernlion based on his Spelunky 2 and Fall Guys streams, but I think he's the most engaging of all these game streamer types I've encountered.  Doing things like busting out Bernie Sanders channelling Karl Marx whilst playing Takeshi's Castle as a candy-coloured oompa loompa just strikes me as better than other streamers' shrill screaming or dry droning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cwHeSAOo_Q

Anyone that has a cartoon of themselves as an avatar can get fucked. That's the rules.

Kitboga is funny, it seems his m.o. is winding up scammers, I don't watch every day as I think it would get a bit repetitive, but the levels of rage some of the scammers resort to after spending hours trying to scam him out of money can be funny.

I know zilch about these cunts, spending most of my life avoiding them, but I was looking after my girlfriend's son recently and he was spellbound by the gaming activities of a prick known as NoughtPointFourLIVE.

I really, really want him to die.

They're all shite really when you think about what you're actually watching. I think it's mostly meant to be the sense of community maybe but surely once somebody starts getting a few hundred followers that community goes away and you're lost in the mass of other weirdos watching someone play a video game.

I think this stuff has actually affected me enjoying actual art as well. Everything is so dull.

Yeah I've been watching a lot of twitch recently, because you know furlough, but it's small communities, basically people I'd sort of consider online friends doing it for very small audiences and not really seen as avenue to make money. Similar vibe to Cookdandbombd Radio really.

Francis Higgins is still the funniest man out there, whatever you sad fucks think

I've been really getting into General Sam lately. I just sort of like him, but I can see why others might not.
