I don't actually care too much about speculating what games are going to be announced.

I just wanted to post Nintendo's fantastic video.

mobias

I guess we'll see more footage of Uncharted 4. I reckon Rockstar will finally announce the long awaited GTA V DLC either at E3 or just before it. Last Guardian anyone?

We'll see more of No Mans Sky, the Mad Max game and Just Cause 3. My long hope is that EA announces a new SSX.

VegaLA

The SW Battlefront game footage will be premiered at E3. That's my star for E3 this year.

Nintendo have gone shocking.

Zelda is delayed until 2016. The Wii U can't be saved and will be completely dead at that point. They may as well do another cross gen Twilight Princess and launch it on their new hardware.

What do Nintendo do next, what's the best course of action for them at this point?

Continue selling Amiibos to idiots.

Just want new games announced pls

Seeing Need for Speed is being rebooted I don't have any faith in EA. Criterion's new racer is where its at and I can't wait to hear more about the game they're developing.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwRRpnQGLqM

I'd also love Rockstar to make another Midnight Club which is a really underrated IP. There's so many car games on the market but they actually succeeded in making that feel different and fresh at the time. Even how it controlled with the two thumb sticks.

When does this shitshow start?

I'm ready for some VR and hope Morpheus will have a big presence. They'll need to have a lot of games ready at launch if its going to catch peoples imagination. On Austrian retailer listed it with a price of €400 / £300. If the specs and build quality are up to snuff I'd be fine dropping that type of money on a set. It could prove to be the PS4's killer application this generation.

Bastards, now when it doesn't come I'll be slightly more disappointed.

Xbox getting into bed with Oculus.  https://twitter.com/xboxp3/status/609049739712036864

They needed a Morpheus responce and it could make for a very good partnership.

EDIT: nevermind this is it in action. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5kI4NuM33E

Piss.

Dishonored 2 was already officially anounced a while back but now it was let slip that it's going to be at E3, which was already pretty obvious since Bethesda has it's own show happening. I'm very excited for more Dishonored. Anything in that world with that fantastic art style. It could be an RTS and I'd be happy. I like the world of that game very much.

PlayStation... RealEyes and Move 2.

Real Eyes, don't they realise that's a stupid name? Hard to tell if this is a fake.

Hank Venture

Bethesda smashed it. Fallout 4 looks amazeballs. Amazeballs. Amaze. Balls.

I see Yu Suzuki is being a bit of a tease tweeting this image about E3:

Shenmue 3? Almost definitely not.

Onken

Doom looked impressive but I'm not feeling it. It came across like they're targeting 16 year olds.

If you looking for something to have on in the background the Nintendo World Championship is on YouTube's E3 page.

Ugh people whooping every time there's a particularly violent kill. Gamers are the worst. People complaining that it was too violent are the 2nd worst.

Benjaminos

You are Anita Sarkeesian and I claim my five pounds: https://twitter.com/femfreq/status/610271596675117056

I don't understand her (or your) criticism, really. They're horrible monsters trying to kill you, so the game logically has to revolve around you killing them - so, given that you'll be spending the majority of your time watching things die, don't you at least want some variety in how that happens? It'd be boring if they all just slumped over like a sack of spuds.

It wasn't a complaint about violence, it was a complaint about whooping.

Benjaminos

Oh, ok. Because it was pretty rad when he ripped out that demon's heart and fed it to him.

Obel

To be fair I think it would be nice if less games revolved around killing things. More or less every popular game involves murder in some way.
I do enjoy a bit of virtual killing, don't get me wrong! But a little bit of variety would be good. Supply and demand though I know... murdering things is fun and awesome, but you can't have a video game where somebody dying is really affecting if you spend most of your time mowing every cunt down in most games.

Thursday

Aye, and we are seeing an increase in those kinds of things lately and it's good to not just have the same kind of games we've been conditioned to expect for decades.

It's just that the basic game mechanic of "kill or be killed" is hard to beat really. It's hard to replicate the tension that idea brings in other forms.
