splattermac

some Can-esque disco groove thing

Tussle - Untitled

It's a biggie at 11mb :/

Dr David V

I hope it's still cool to like this:

Bloc Party - Banquet

splattermac

The next volcanic eruption will offer shelter for some creatures,
the rest it lets the lava bury
leaves only children and tiny seeds,
the reprogramming has begun, has been started

Le Futur Pompiste - Seeds

I didn't get into the album and then I hit the last track and I think it's great so I've kept that and sacked the rest off.

They are from Finland which is nice.

More shameless Shelter Reposting:

Momus presents a rather graphic philosophical treatise on  Coming In A Girl's Mouth[/b]

It must be said, I've listened to that 'Koi no Milky Way' an unreasonable number of times. I thought I was the only one. Thanks, jutl.

Those crazy Japanese kids, eh?

Howlin'  Wolf - Goin' Down Slow

This was played at John Peel's funeral and it was great

Lakuna - Lemongrass

Two words for you: FUCKING and ACE.

jutl

Some great stuff being posted here.

Yup - that seems fair.

Quote from: "peet"Frank Black & Teenage Fanclub - The Jacques Tati (Peel session)

That was lovely.

That was demented. Thanks.

Leon Redbone - Champagne Charlie

Honest, I will sort some webspace one day

Many Songs d'Audjourdhui, because I have an essay to do.

Mint Royale - Don't Falter
Anyone remember this? Featuring wotsername from Kenickie

UNDER17 - Ichigo Go Go! - Jumbo Parfait version
More UNDER17 action, seeing as everyon'e at it.

Incredible Bongo Band - Apache
Oft-sampled and truly wonderful - can't beat a brass band with a funky beat doing a cheesy Shadows track.

The Ramones - Baby I Love You
Hehe. Well, I like it.

peet

2 clicks, I find a picture compliments each rather well, multimeeja like.

Spiteface

Ride - Coming Up for Air

Anyone remember the episode of channel 4s "Pioneers" series about Sonic Youth a few years ago? The band breifly reunited to perform an improvised piece of music they were told would accompany the programme.
Very little of it was used in the end, and the eventully released the full recording themselves as a limited (1000 copies) CD.

This is the bit taken from the official Ride website.

If anyone has this in full I'd love to hear it!

Grabbed a copy of the new Hood album, it's a thing of beauty. It's out on Monday, y'all.

Hood - 'Any Hopeful Thoughts Arrive'

Boomkat described the intro as owing a lot to Scott Herren (Prefuse 73), which is pretty much spot-on.
