Last thing that made you cry with laughter

The thing that destroyed me with hilarity most in recent years is definitely The Castletown Donkey Derby though.

http://youtu.be/8XtVm8z28e4

It's just so joyfully, infectiously, painfully funny.

Fucking hell, just flicked through that with the sound off and I'm still shaking with laughter. The camerawork alone is a thing of beauty!

Noo paige.

Crabwalk

I've watched it at least 20 times over the past few years. The first time I came across it I watched it about 6 times in a row, helpless with laughter. The interview build up gets funnier each time, the race itself slightly less so. But it's my favourite YouTube video by a mile.

'Billy is your name'

DrGreggles

He always reminds of Jon Kenny in Father Ted.

Suckton Clifney

Charlie's descent onto the stage and subsequent song in the "Nightman Cometh" episode of It's Always Sunny. Unbearably funny.

That whole episode from start to finish, really. "You gotta pay the troll toll/To get into this boy's hole". Just how over the moon Frank is to be playing the troll makes me laugh every time.

Disagree. You couldn't script it better if you tried: kid who's never won a race is crowned champion, young bloke runs his donkey too hard into the bushes, and then the other two donkeys start humping each other to the soundtrack of the host's infectious laughter.

Crabwalk

Oh, the race itself is absolutely sublime, don't get me wrong. I'm just pointing out that, for me, the build up reveals more and more hilarious details and odd turns of phrase the more I watch it, but the race is probably funniest the first time you watch it unfold. It's still painfully funny thereafter, but the surprise element inevitably fades. And as we all know comedy=surprises[nb]Well, according to Paul F Tomkins on 'Hollywood Handbook', at least[/nb].

I thought there was a "Twitter comedian" thread but I couldn't find it. In any event, I know nothing about "@Fart," and he looks like he could be a CaB poster, but this is fantastic:

He used to be a mod on Something Awful, he's a funny chap. Saw that earlier and it's great!

Last thing to make me laugh was Rafi (Jason Mantzoukas) yelling 'lets all get the same chick pregnant!' on The League.

Spiteface

A J-drama series called Kanpai Senshi After V (Cheers Soldiers, After V), A comedy about a Super Sentai-esque team of heroes, but twist is, it's about them drinking and celebrating after the battles, rather than just being an outright spoof of the Sentai genre. A second series is just starting, so I downloaded the first season with subtitles from Mega Beast Empire to watch & catch up on it. I watched the first epsiode last night. This clip about them wondering why they fight for "World Peace", but the bad guys only ever attack Japan, or more specifically Tokyo:

Love this already.

Fake ads, posters, books, etc, etc, etc

Produces such gems as:

A common one is fake Netflix summaries, e.g.:

And there's also a bunch of fake subtitles with Ice T from Law and Order: SVU which remind me of Chris Morris:

And so much more.

Sony Walkman Prophecies

The football chants off A&J's XFM Show - 'Penaltyyy, menaltyyy. Your team is not playing well. Your team not good today. ' etc.

'Billy is your name'

I think it's Bill Lee

Crabwalk

Mmm, an interesting interpretation/observation. But how would your man know his surname? He asks the boy his name at the start and is just told 'Bill', but then immediate goes on to call him Billy/Bill Lee
Spoiler alert
then he shoves a little girl

No footage, sadly, but a group of male students gamely acting out scenes from Lysistrata in seminar this week. It wasn't so much that they were hilarious (they were), but one of the women in the class just fell apart with laughter. It was watching her helpless giggling that really set off the rest of us.

I've watched this many times and I will never tire of it. Norm Macdonald on Brokeback Mountain:

^ me too. I've actually got the audio clip on my phone and show it to people I like. The Man Grate ads supercut is wonderful too.

I've just gotten round to watching the 2nd series of House of Fools. Episode 2 and 3 in particular had so many moments which made me proper howl with laughter.

Last night I was playing Balderdash with some friends and we got the word "clinchpoop". Fucked us up for a good ten minutes.

"Clinchpoop".

Heh -- that actually goes in the Americans & Monty Python thread :)

Mine was more like Terry Jones meets Stephen 'tu-whit, tu-woo!' Toast.

The YouTube channel HowToBasic. All of it, but especially this one:

The alien sports from Rick and Morty Interdimensional Cable 2, perhaps because it's just as indecipherable to me as most real sports.

Needs sound really but couldn't find it in other than a gif.

Small Man Big Horse

The Bob Dylan Or Anal Sex? quiz on Billy On The Street Season Four Episode One, the Q&A bit itself was mildly amusing but the old woman's story
Spoiler alert
about how she once heard Bob Dylan singing at a party, and how she was with a pothead who was "a wonderful man",

had me in hysterics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kR6spmU4Qjo
