Merci dave.

I had to find this comment again and thank you for bringing this into my life. 'It's Mercedes or bust' pops into my head every day. I said mer-cee-days out loud yesterday and I realised I'll never be able to get it right again.

Bit old, but I only just came across it. Bloke from Australia does impressions of the titans of the Intellectual Dark Web and some Aussie TV people who I've never heard of:

Jordan Peterson SLAYS Aussie TV Host

Community theatre performance of genius, in the long grass:

fucking ponderous

Powder 2: Powder 2 the People

Not sure how familiar with the actual film Powder you have to be to find this funny. All I know about that film is the plot (albino teen is made fun of at school but is also a genius and has super powers and can either control lightning or is secretly lightning) and the fact that it was made by a once-convicted paedo, which Disney, the film's producers, claim they did not know at the time.

Anyway this video made me cry...

with laughter!!!!

Oh my

I love the "I'm Finally Free" song right before her head falls off. Utter make-believe, she was surely never more hounded by the press than she was at that time, but that can't get in the way of a community theatre play's emotional arc.

Just saw this again for the first time in ages.

Kevin & Perry: "Wet My Pants"

That's how a sketch should be done.  A solid minute and a half of pure comedy, absolutely zero fat on it, perfect delivery.  It doesn't rely on any prior knowledge or understanding - you immediately understand everything you need to know about the situation, the characters and their dynamic.  Stewart Lee may find ways to make repetition funny over the course of half an hour, but the simple repetition of the phrase "wet my pants" becomes hysterical by the end of this short 90 seconds.   No idea how the auntie managed to keep a straight face, but the fact that Kathy Bates looks as though she's genuinely losing her shit makes it all the better.

This clip from Adam and Joe of a little girl's obsession with Paul McCartney

It's more cute than anything, but it's hilarious how dark it goes

Mainstream normie meme's are normally terrible but this granda eating paint one just has me in bits everytime I think of it, the absolute desolation on his face

I fully lost it 26 minutes in at "Her Name is Cat".

Cuellar

Don't know if you need to know the full context but it made me weep. The sheer childish joy when Limmy finds out a character in a crappy FMV game is actually bald (he'd been wearing a ludicrous hat for the entire game)

Didn't cry laughing, but I wanted to put this somewhere because I thought it was great:

non capisco

Revisiting "The Micallef P(ro)gram(me)", this "Attentione! Il est Myron!" bit blindsided me all over again.
