Watched 'Fight of Fury' after hearing it recommended on the 'No such thing as a bad movie' podcast.  The ADR and editing just fucking sent me, fucking hilarious (if you like that sort of thing).  Currently on Amazon Prime.

If you were born 12 years ago, how old would you be?

CARNAGE!

I can't count how many times I have watched this. You start to notice even more such as the people in the distance running back.

Orson Welles being difficult.

Orson Welles being difficult in a different way.

John Candy pretending to be Welles in a sketch which I did assume was based on real-life reports of his behaviour, but until I saw the second of the two clips above I didn't realise just to what extent.

One of the rare things where the further along it goes, the more I laugh.

On The Chase just now :

Q : Which former Italian leader was once a cruise ship entertainer ?

A: Mussolini

The (presumably) unintentional comedy of the sequence at 1.33 where the footage makes it sound like Bono is screaming as his brakes stop working.

A 15peter20 type running on stage and gyrating half naked with the words 'SOY BOMB' painted on his chest during Bob Dylan's performance of 'Love Sick' at the 1998 Grammys. Dylan's initial alarmed reaction and then total indifference really gets me:

It took them a while to pull him off.

Probably cos they noticed how much Dylan's performance improved once he came on.  The before and after effect is really striking.

From the latest Popbitch:

"Track titles on the new Van Morrison album include "Stop Bitching, Do Something", "Why Are You On Facebook?" and "They Own The Media" - if you were wondering how his pandemic was going".

And also:

"One celeb who didn't join the tributes to Coronation Street star Johnny Briggs was Lorraine Kelly. She had her reasons though. Johnny once asked ITV producers if someone else could interview him as he didn't like Scottish people".
