Elastigirl's face flying off set me going.

I thought Goofy rallied quite well.

Indeed. Entirely in character as well. Flawless really.

There's a beautiful sense of anticipation with those clips, isn't there?

Mr Banlon

I've been recently been glutting on MST3K. Mitchell near enough made me laugh myself dry

All these Disneyland videos have reminded me of this

Which in turn reminded me of this
http://youtu.be/Y5C2gihnEkE

The first one seems to be legitimately serious about the incident, whereas in the second one I'm almost certain they're taking the piss.

What the jesus christ. 1.03 in this video is great https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbWKRJ1ISBc

The last bit of that clip compilation has actually made feel nauseous with laughter. Also Mickey's eye falling out.

What's so awful about those stage fuck ups is the fact the performers are so bound to the backing tape. They simply have to soldier on even if they're on fire.

My favourite has to be "Jack with your face like a worn out willy"

Bill Burr, trying to read out an advert he's obviously never even glanced at before getting on air.

There's something wonderful about someone, especially a comic, losing it and just crying with laughter.

Puce Moment

Horribly out of context, but I watched Harold and Maude for the first time this evening (yeah, yeah, I know...), and this bit slayed me for ages...

Kelvin

I only saw this for the first time a few weeks ago and thought it was hilarious.

Well, you're younger than me, and I still haven't got around to it. I as near as dammit picked it up in Fopp this week (went for 'Nebraska' instead). But I did buy the 'Bottom' box set, so I've been rewatching them for the first time in about twenty years - the gasman scene still caused me pain with laughter.

one day I hope to laugh as heartily as Janet. I also it's at the expense of a terrified but unfailingly polite fat kid.

Recently rewatched Louis CK's last special. The bit where he degrades his toilet is so so funny to me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5-vCBZp9q8

Phil_A

Adam & Joe's improvised football chants from their XFM podcast never fails to slay me.

"Beckham, Beckham, where'd you live, Streatham? That's full-ah WANK-AAAHS, and you're one!"

Thing is, you just know that they were all sent to the dungeons and swiftly destroyed afterwards.  You can see the horror - they know their fate.

The Beast's pants falling down (
Spoiler alert
TWICE

) killed me.

See, I've really never got the whole Disneyland thing. The whole appeal of the characters for me was and is their story and the medium of animation itself. Seeing an adult skip around in an invariably slightly off model costume, furiously waving and nodding along to a crackly audio track doesn't come anywhere near to capturing what appealed to me in the first place.

The fact that human error creates these awkward moments, and the obvious embarrassed, dejected body language that beloved characters demonstrate after their tumbles just adds an extra level of sadness to an already hollow experience.

You can also factor in the intangible sense that some form of disciplinary talk/procedure will doubtlessly be looming, as the icing to a very bleak cake.

Kids like it, and the rides are meant to be very good.

I wouldn't know for I am terrified of any and all rides.

I guess crying with laughter + Disneyland makes this old favourite inevitable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfE93xON8jk

That led me to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuBUxBApL-M
Some of the moments of people passing out then waking up, had me crying with laughter.

Those Disneyland videos are grim! I remember being at Disneyland when I was 12 and feeling the whole experience was pretty cringey, these videos brought back awkward, early teen memories.

HAUNTED MANSION

Obviously it's popular, but like I say, I don't get it and held the same opinion when I was a kid. My attitude back then was pretty much 'if it's not a cartoon, I'm not interested,' so I've never seen the appeal of the clumsy, heavy, impassive costumes used to represent the fluid, slick, expressive animation.
