You can use proxies for Pirate Bay and Kick Ass Torrents quite easily. They sometimes need a couple of refreshes to work but they're still available to access. I find it more convenient to just use Popcorn Time for streaming films. The content is downloaded using torrents to a temporary folder and deleted when you close the app. If you're inclined to keep a copy you can just move the file to somewhere else and save it that way.

It is getting hard though because inevitably the proxies stop working as well, so then you try to find a site with a list of proxies but they'll just have a list of now dead proxies.

I haven't used torrents since I installed Kodi and Genesis on my phone and computer. It's basically netflix but with everything. Well, most things anyway.
