Here's a good idea... use this thread to post tracklists for self-compiled themed compilations; not just a collection of your favourite tunes of the moment, but an actual proper set in which all the tracks have a common musical or conceptual link. For example 'Twenty Hot Shoegazing Chartbusters', 'The Best Electric Sitar Album In The World... Ever', 'The Very Best Of Those People Who Were Sort Of A Bit Jazz Influenced In The 1980s Like Matt Bianco, Swing Out Sister And Curiosity Killed The Cat', 'The Miniscule Indie Label Singles Collection' or what have you. The idea being that anyone who is curious about said 'genres' can use your recommendations as a starting point.
