One of the greats when Neigbours was at its twice a day BBC peak. Sometimes I'd watch it twice a day.

Shaky

So memorably played by the actor Tom Oliver Reed:

Hey, Jelly Belly!

Ha ha ha ha ha!

Onken

Harold you fat pice of shit.

The Masked Unit

I loved that storyline where Lou was whoring out Annalise and Beth. Yes, he knew when they needed to see the back of his hand, but to give him his dues, he always kept them looking nice and let them have every other Sunday off. Truly the gentleman pimp of Ramsey Street.

Guy

He's such a composite of George Peppard and Windsor Davies it sickens me.

Cloud

Aw man I loved Neighbours back then!  Has he croaked then?

I was actually thinking of starting a neighbours thread, but this Lou Carpenter thread will do just fine for all things neighbours.

Did you know that Lou Carpenter's head weighed exactly the same as a single Anne Wilkinson breast? I was going to link to a picture, but she looks a bit too teenage. It was Ok at the time though, I was young.

God the Neighbours women. Amazing.

And Magnum.

Greatest Neighbours episode ever was when Lou, Phil and Benito went paintballing.

poo

Don't remember that one but it does sound like a great episode.

I misremembered Phil - it was actually Jim.  It was set up for several episodes beforehand.  Great days.

NoSleep

He would make a great Fred Flintstone.

Ah 1993, that explains it. I was drunk that year. Looks like a belter.

Neighbours was a great way for him to let off some steam after Commando.

The Masked Unit

Remember when he fisted the Alessi twins up to the armpits and wore them like a pair of long gloves? Not even for sex, but because Harold bet him a quid he couldn't.
