Dan Hicks RIP

There wasn't a thread for this but was very saddened to hear that Dan Hicks (of "....and his Hot Licks") fame has died at the age of 74. I absolutely love Hicks' music and have done for a long time. He was in the original 1960s group The Charlatans in SF before going solo.

But he's also produced a ton of other great tracks, and always retained a sly sense of humour in his music.

I saw him with the reformed Hot Licks about 15 years back and it was a wonderful experience. RIP.
