Saw it the other day. I think it's really good, one of the best US films of the past 30 years. All the aspects mentioned negatively in the reviews cited on Wikipedia are in fact strengths, I reckon. Anyway, it's got loads of "ooh look who it is" moments with people who did bigger roles afterwards.
