Even though the standard version of the 'Wuthering Heights' video evokes nostalgia with it's hazy of-it's-time-ness, the alternative version is preferable for it's beautiful location and Bush acting all vampish in a red dress. Ah, halcyon, hopeful days.

The Sensual World (Instrumental).  A great artist, but I'm not keen on her voice(s); here she uses it sparingly as background texture.

This Young Edits version of Cloudbusting is simple and and the beat doesn't feel crowbared on.

Too many to mention. Probably Get Out Of My House, or something else from The Dreaming.

If we're talking lesser mentioned songs, The Infant Kiss from Never For Ever always fucks me up.

Leave It Open too, the drums and witchiness at the end...

^ oh man! the Dreaming is nuts and great from start to finish. My personal fave at the moment is houdini, particularly where she does that spine-chilling throaty growls voice on the 'with your spit still on my lips' bit

breathing is proper desolate too, oh man. Easily in my top five favourite nuclear aftermath type songs, right next to this world over by xtc (actually it's just those 2 I can think of right now)

Slightly better quality video. I love this version, every frame from 0:16 to 0:33 belongs in an art gallery.

That bit in Jig of Life - "NEVER NEVER NEVER" - where she really growls it. Incredible singer, so versatile.

My favourite Kate Bush moment is the line "I can't hide you / from the government" in Cloudbusting. One of those moments where the lyric, melody and delivery all synchronise for massive effect.

Another example: "Come on angel / come on, come on darling " ...

Apart from all the times she is the sexiest thing ever, the bit on the side two of Hounds Of Love where the water starts being like the devil or whatever.

Waking The Witch I just checked.

I'm not too well-versed in her work yet, but the 'Ninth Wave' half of Hounds of Love is very creative and moving - though the lovely 'Cloudbusting' and the lovely 'The Big Sky' are my favourite individual songs from the album.

^woohoo! Thomas, you are a person of good taste.
If you like the Ninth Wave, definitely give Aerial a go - it's even more sprawling and creative, but 'sprawling' in a good way. I think. I'm not entirely sure what 'sprawling' means. Just off to google it.

I'd like to change my earlier answer to The Kick Inside because it came up on shuffle just now and i had to physically stop what i was doing and just listen. A brave thing to write lyrically and a stunningly beautiful song.

She's a great artist and talent but this single picture is absolutely my favourite Kate Bush thing. Magnificent tits.

I listened to The Sensual World last night. Quite a few moments jumped out as incredible, but the strings at 1:28 in 'The Fog' are especially beautiful.

I love her unpredictable range of subjects. She's one of those artists - and I like these people a lot - whose work reaffirms that you can write creatively about anything at all. If you're any good at putting the words in the right order, of course.

Also Gary Brooker of Procol Harum on keyboards and Peter Hope-Evans of Machine Head on mouth organ. It's funny how you can tell it's Mick Karn without even seeing him just from those fretless slides.
