Looks like Norm does have a Netflix show. From David Spade's instagram https://streamable.com/klt24

God bless this social media whore's inability to keep something a secret! Glad to hear Netflix snapped him up. Spade is a repeat guest then, I guess.

up_the_hampipe

Looks like Norm only made that awful sitcom back in the 90s so he could make out with beautiful actresses https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYgvyBqRYWc

Apparently Michael Keaton will be on

This dude uploaded all the NML podcasts, but he's getting some flak cos now he's uploading all of I'm not norm's content.
You gotta scroll & keep hitting load more to get to the podcasts.

Norm put a couple back up too.

Small Man Big Horse

The Netflix show has been officially confirmed.

Yay, more of Norm's disappointing political opinions.

Never seen this before:

Norm Macdonald Recreate Marlon Brando's Oscar Speech

"There is nothing funny about the extermination of a people."

Seemed ok to me.  Defended Trump as a bloke, but wisely stayed clear of the politics.
He seems like a twat now, but maybe Trump was ok to have a beer with, back in the day.

new norm.

Trump's comments have been "misunderstood" and "taken out of context". Nah mate.
Genuinely not sure I'm willing to give Norm the benefit of the doubt anymore. I'll just cherish the old stuff.

up_the_hampipe

He's a writer on the Roseanne revival. Two peas in a barmy pod.

I think you could have a decent chat with Norm, he gels well with guests who are clearly liberal/left-leaning. On the horrendous YouTube Comedy Event Thing™, he and Sarah Silverman's banter seemed fairly relaxed and natural.

Nowhere Man

At this point im questioning how far Norm would have to go for me to stop loving him. I guess that you never know whether or not he's being truly serious a lot of the time which helps in giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Forgot how good the frog joke was until I saw it again last night.
I've had to watch it several times since.

Epic Bisto

I love Norm MacDonald's work, ever since finding his Just For Laughs appearance on one of those Laughing Stock cassettes (they were in a cut-out bin in Tesco's back in the 90s, and because they were charging only 50p a tape, I ended up buying almost all of them), and I still think "Dirty Work" is one of the best comedies of all time. I tend to forget about him after a while, but when he pops up from time to time, I'm pissing myself with laughter all over again. Since discovering the I'm Not Norm youtube channel as posted above, I've gone down a right rabbit warren of hilarity. The ventriloquist compilation has to be the funniest shit I've heard in a while.

Nice

They cancelled two kind of talk shows today though so I wouldn't hold out hope for more episodes after the initial batch

I think Norm's show will get a more hardened audience than those.

Norm has been responding to Lena Dunham tweets for two hours. Feel like I should be a little worried for him but I keep laughing.

Edit: Still he keeps going. This is really quite weird.

Norm's got form.  https://uproxx.com/tv/norm-macdonald-spent-morning-trolling-lena-dunham-girls-twitter/

Was he pimping anything in particular in November 2013?  Maybe he views Young Lena Dunham's twitter page as a premium promotional platform?

EDIT:  In retrospect, this is Norm Macdonald, so he's likely just tampering with his own brakes now that something good might happen to him.

Mr Faineant

And just like that, four hours worth of just-for-the-fuck-of-it tweeting evaporates. Glad to have finally caught the elusive norm storm.

Ron Superior

I love Norm. Me Doing Stand-up and his Saget Roast are absolute go-to's for when I just want to laugh uncontrollably. But I do find it quite depressing when he likes tweets like this, alongside shit from the likes of Jordan Peterson and Scott Adams. But I guess that kind of speaks to the point of the article.

Interesting that his next book is going to be a non comedic novel though. That could really be interesting.

up_the_hampipe

It's no surprise that Norm would hate Nanette. He's always been big on the idea that comedy should prioritise funniness over importance.

up_the_hampipe

Norm is chatting with Ricky Gervais on Twitter about British sitcoms at the moment. It's quite sweet actually.

And yet, despite having one of the best comedic minds around, he's a tedious bore when he tries to be serious or profound. "Why does life insist?"

But he doesn't do it in his act.
