Massively enjoyed this video of Herzog going on about how incredible JA Baker's The Peregrine is. I love that book and it's so close to the ecstatic truth that Herzog is after that hearing him talk about it is a joyous thing. His insights on it are typically profound and hilarious (I chuckled away at him saying ornithologists should be banned from reading it). Near the end of the video he insists on reading out a long list of names of dwarfs from the Codex Regius.
