Convertible Laptops - help

So, I'm finally going to bite the bullet and get myself a tablet. I need it for meetings to sychronise files when I am on the move, and to watch films when travelling when a laptop would be too cumbersome. I figure it makes sense to have a keyboard with in the form of a convertible laptop, and have the option to use it as a laptop when I'm in libraries doing research.

Firstly, has anyone used one of these, or own one? How are they?

I looked up some on ebuyer and I can't really differentiate, as I'm not sure what sort of spec to expect, or require:

Ideally, I would rather not spend more than £300. I don't need to use it as my main computer, so it would not need much HD space, but I would like it to be light and fast. Any thoughts or recommendations?
