Can't believe I'm sticking up for Ethan Klein...'ranting about feminism'...he has to my knowledge never done that, he has only 'ranted' about stupid people taking their new age cult of social justice a 'bit' too far.

I was only joking.

Armoured Skeptic, on YouTube's well-dodgy new plans to let special snowflakes become censors, that'll be good.

Yes...how the hell they thought they could endorse such a 'rats charter' I have no idea...it will end in tears.

Informing on and censoring your peers is something Nazi Germany used to get up to...terrible.

If Youtube gets what it clearly wants, it's the actual death of it...people will move on, the internet sees censorship as damage and routes around it.

Matthewmatosis does my favourite computer game reviews and criticism. Very intelligent and insightful guy. His Dark Souls and Mario series reviews are tremendous.

This channel, on which a plummy voiced Scotsman dissects various electronic gizmos, makes for strangely compelling viewing.

This video of him showing how electricity is fatal by passing current across his heart is really something: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wR6g38Pxwog

There a nice little bit of madness just gone up on Digistiser2000...if you like that sort of thing.

Link to the Digi clip mentioned there.

Really enjoyed that. Maybe it just caught me at the right time, but I was genuinely surprised by how good it was. Biffo does seem to be taking in some serious outside influence from Tim & Eric, but unlike most of the wannabes who use that style it feels like a natural fit for his particular brand of surreal whimsy. At the very least, it feels much closer to capturing the spirit of "proper Biffo" than the Biffovision pilot ever did.

He's currently angling around on twitter asking if anyone would be interested in crowdfunding more of that sort of thing, and I could definitely go for that.

Rediscovered one of my favourite youtubers. Former BBC science correspondent Potholer54 a lot of atheist stuff but not as wanky as others but the good stuff is his educational series and his "global warming debunked" debunking. Well researched, well presented, lots of sources and the occasional interview. I wasted many happy hours losing my shit in his comment threads arguing with creationists who believe global warming is caused by ungodliness.

For some reason I've got into watching competitive eaters

Matt Stonie is probably the most amazing of these. 9kg of rice and Japanese curry...

I know he's been mentioned several times before, but I'm really enjoying Dan Bell's new series 'Another Dirty Room', in which him and 2 friends - Will and Rick (love that guy) - book a shitty room at a shitty motel, looking for nasty stuff.
It does not disappoint!

There's only 3 episodes so far, I've only seen the first 2, but they were brilliant fun.
Somehow it's not so repellant that I can't happily eat my dinner to it... even when they're showing dried shit/blood or wet cum.
And they have such a fun time doing it. Almost makes me want to book a room in the El Rich Motel just to experience the downright awfulness of it.

Jesus Christ. 40 minutes of three cunts going "Ewwww look a cheap hotel has a stain" over and over. Fucks sake mate, try sleeping in my bed sometime. If it was a 3 minute video it would be one thing. But 40 cocking minutes?

Only just got round to watching this but thought it was great - like some kind of warped Adam Curtis film.  I reckon Biffo could do the definitive Curtis parody.

Have you seen the new one yet? That cut up of Protect and Survive is bloody brilliant.

I love watching Matt Stonie. He's such a tiny bloke for the amount he piles on! But he's great fun to watch, and I love the ridiculous super size meals he cooks up. That massive fucking burrito he made once, just watching him put the thing together was a joy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r80QoDvEJBA

Lofty Pursuits Victorian hand made candy videos are enormously satisfying.

Like "How it's made" before it got popular and they decided to add animations and presenters.

I've liked what i've seen of Another Dirty Room so far, although i'm not how long it will last before the show starts to get boring. I guess there's only so many times you can show spunk stains on the walls before it loses it's charm. It will be interesting if they go to a room and it's cleaner than they expect it.

Bruva Alfabusa's "Text-to-speech" series, a massive love letter to all the dumb and metal shit in the Warhammer 40k franchise.

If you've ever sneaked a peak in a copy of White Dwarf you'll love it.

The guy playing Magnus also sounds uncannily like Marcus Brigstoke so thats neat.

I've been watching a lot of this guy's 'dead mall series'...you should have a look if you like Dawn of the Dead.

Aside from a mildly annoying schtick where he pauses as if lost for words, Tom Scott is good. Lots of videos about architectural/geographical oddities, science, history and that sort of thing. One of them was right near where I live. I can imagine him presenting a documentary on BBC4, or being a co-host on Coast[nb]Thanks, Ants. Thants[/nb].

Been watching Oddity Archive https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUwt-JFSQx4&index=1&list=PLIEbITAtGBeYrnBjYnZXqxCAaE5KJlf11 pretty good if you like shows about old technology and fads and general fuck-ups. There's a little bit of a Victor Lewis Smith vibe going on as well.
