A quirky, cool as fuck Rogue-like/Dungeon crawler which uses a fresh approach to combat. Or drunken idiot style combat if you're anything like me.

So far I have tripped over a rock mid fight, hit myself with a door, attacked a wall with a plank of wood, axed a zombie to death, beaten a man to death with a flaming torch and died a squillion times. Frustrating in the Dark souls kind of way, but insanely addicitive.

Only played a few hours of it. Had a few blasts in the 'Arena' mode which is probably the best way to get used to combat. The best part is slowly mastering a weapon and pulling of a feignt or a parry and taking out your enemy, rather than facing the wrong way and getting hit at the base of your skull and falling into a broken crate.

I've barely scratched the actual 'exploring' part of the game as it's fucking solid. But you can find bits of armour and tools and pieces of wood, scattered about the place. Also, strangely not every occupant of the dungeon is hostile, twice I've had observers watching my pathetic duel against a semi-naked and frail combatant.

Here's a guide to combat.

The combat is gritty and brutal, the sound effects are satisfying and crunchy. The lighting engine makes every fight look beautiful as you dance around discarded torches and trip over bits of crate.

Great fun.
