Voices From The Lake - Live at MAXXI

Only just discovered this album recently. There's tons and tons of new underground electronic music out there these days, but it's rare when something of this quality comes up.

I first heard Italian duo Voices From The Lake about 4 years ago when they did a live performance on Beats In Space, and I was impressed then, so have always kept an ear out for them. They are made up of two guys called Donato Dozzy and Neel. I've not heard much about Neel, but I know Dozzy had a residency at Panorama Bar so there's some techno pedigree right there.

This live performance from 2015 is well worth a listen if you want to hear what they are about. Listen to it as a full performance though, the build up to and when the melody drops on the final track is just ecstatic.
