This film's been screening across Australia for the last month. It'll surely be playing in any Human Rights Film Festivals happening in the UK, and hopefully some digitial distribution.
It's a documentary featuring a large series of Whistleblowers and smuggled footage from inside the the Australian Refugee Detention Centres on Nauru, and Manus Island, exploring the insanely bad conditions, and horrific culture that is created when you get traumatised people, put them in shitty conditions, and don't have checks and balances.

There's pretty detailed footage of one of the riots on Nauru from the security guards body cameras which is pretty crazy to get out.

Australia's got one of the harshest policies towards Refugees, and we've successfully stopped the boats, but in doing so, have done something a lot worse.

With rape and exploitation of children and women inside the camps, suicides, two inmates recently immolating themselves. And official new legislation that causes whistleblowers to spend 2 years in prison, even when it comes to reporting sexual abuse of children by guards in these places.

One for the bleak documentaries thread. Fuck, it's a bit of a sledgehammer of misery this one.
