Finally watching this all the way through, having seen a clip in a compilation of British Films on BBC1 back in the mid 80s.

Jolly good stuff, including Mel Smith in a typical Mel Smith role.

Shown on Channel 4 in 1985 and 1990, this has had a bit of a resurgence in recent years, showing up on BBC2 a couple of times and London Live as well. I've never seen any of Franco Rosso's other films like Dread Beat and Blood, or The Nature of the Beast.

How do you think it compares to Pressure or Black Joy? The latter definitely needs an airing on London Live at some point.

Pressure has the heavier politics.

Of course Wolcott wins for having the most famous white actors in it.
