This is obviously going back a few years, but I've been re-watching The Gravy Train, together with its sequel The Gravy Train Goes East. (It's on 4od.) It has Ian Richardson in it, which for me is enough to watch any damn thing. But, well, there's the sparkling dialogue, thrilling performances + the remainder of the usual string of acclamations you would reserve for good comedy. Basically what you're looking at is long-form Yes, Prime Minister set in Europe. I can't really recommend it enough. Even though many of Europe's concerns have moved on a bit, it still seems startlingly relevant.

Has anyone else seen it?

Yeah, it's a lot of fun... It turned up on The Box or UK Nova a few years back and I watched it all in one sitting. Malcolm Bradbury is always good value, but the biggest laugh came from seeing a cast that featured Alexei Sayle, Francesca Annis and Christoph Waltz.
