Not seen it yet but Better Watch Out looks like it might be good festive fun, a sort of Dark Reboot of Home Alone:

Seems to tread the line between thriller and comedy, there's even a scene where a kid throws a paint can on a rope down the stairs at a supposed baddie and another kid questions the action as "You're fuckin' Home Alone-ing him?!"

Oof, spoilers but that Better Watch Out is hardly a comedy at all, the tone of the actual film is much darker than the trailer implies which may be intentional. It was a bit jolting the shift in tone.

This is up on Netflix tomorrow - Mindhunter, about the formation of the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit.  First episode directed by David Fincher, so I'm hoping this will be a natural continuation of what he did with Zodiac.
