Blackberry to cease to produce own handsets

Saw that Blackberry are to stop making handsets - I had 5 of them (most recently a Z30 until the end of last year). When they went over to only android, I changed to another brand, but nevertheless I am still sorry to see them go. What chances one of the currently dominant brands could go the same way?
