Crikey. Well if that new single is anything to go by, then I could happily live without another album (although "Hippopotamus" as a single also disappointed me but I was subsequently wowed by the majority of the album, woefully produced though it was), but if they announce another tour I'll fucking shit my pants.

DrGreggles

I think I read somewhere that it was a stand-alone single.
Unless I dreamt that.

Would see these lads live again in a heartbeat (increasing heartbeat)

Jimmy Carr joins Sparks shocker!

Rich Uncle Skeleton

Ohhh yes!

On one hand, damn there isn't a gig in Bristol a ten minute train away[nb]well actually I was hoping they're now back to being able to fill the Colston Hall, which is being refurbed meaning they might have been put on at the bath forum instead like a few other bands!![/nb] but great to see they're playing places like the roundhouse now instead! Can't wait

alan nagsworth

FUCKIN YEEEEEEEAAAAAAA

Rich Uncle Skeleton

Got 2 for the roundhouse and saw the note on AXS about a free beer52 box. Off the booze for a while thanks to meds but still, what a morning!

Neville Chamberlain

I will also be in attendance at the London show, chums. *stares and grins malevolently*

Pre-shows cocktails on October the 21st of October?

Stoneage Dinosaurs

As a fellow Chart Music fan you must identify yourself by entering the pub and hollering "BUMMERDOG!" at the top of your voice.

DrGreggles

Well, I certainly won't be making a 'Keith Allen' entrance.

Brian Freeze

Is Manchester sold out or am I just being feckless?

Rich Uncle Skeleton

You tried getting them from the venue website instead of AXS? Seemed to be the advice for people wanting roundhouse tickets the other day.

Stoneage Dinosaurs

Aren't the AXS ones about 80 quid or something? What's the advantage getting them there rather than the venue site?

Crabwalk

Got my ticket from the Roundhouse direct. Was £38.90 with all the bastard fees, but still a bargain to finally see the Mael boys.

alan nagsworth

Yeah AXS are robbing awful cunts. Never buy through them. And I too was pissed off having to buy through the venue directly as their fees are dog shit.

Got mine direct too.
Particularly like the £2.50 charge to pick up the tickets on the night.

That was through the venue, they weren't showing as available, but can buy them now, weren't sold out after all. Extremely happy bout that.

Rich Uncle Skeleton

Sweet!

Jesus which gig was 80 quid on AXS?? I got two standing tickets for the roundhouse for 75. Never occurred to me to try the venue direct at the time as i only remembered they were on sale at quarter past 9 and followed any old link in a panic!

alan nagsworth

We could have a proper mini-meet for the Roundhouse show, but it's on a Wednesday so unfortunately we'd be hard pushed to get much done in the way of socialising. Is this the biggest ever number of Verbwhores at a gig? Someone call Guinness World Records.

I've been dead in bed with a proto coronovirus, and failed to book Manchester. Tickets only on Viagogo for £70 by the looks of it, so fuck that. So booked tickets from the Roundhouse. Am actually more excited about that, don't think I've been to Camden. Maybe I'll bump into the ghost of Amy Winehouse having a shit in someone's garden.

madhair60

Hello I am going to the Roundhouse show on my billy no mates, can I be someone's mate at the show please.

alan nagsworth

Mate limit exceeded for this one I'm afraid! ERROR: too many mates

madhair60

oh fucking hell. I'm not even joking I'm just gonna be standing there with no pals. Fucking HELL I thought CaB would embrace me with open arms. I've only ever been so fucking loving.
