New Robert Zemeckis fillum, with Brad Pitts and Marion Cotilliardadrd

The bunf:

QuoteIn 1942, an intelligence officer in North Africa encounters a female French Resistance fighter on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. When they reunite in London, their relationship is tested by the pressures of war.

Namely, she's accused of being a spy for the nazis. Which was the 1944 equivalent of being caught by Operation Ore.

Saw this last night, and thought it was excellent. It's a film of two halves, really. First hour is them meeting and trying to pull off a nazi kill mission, the second is them setting up home in England. And then the accusation is put to Pitt, and it all kicks off

Found it really quite tense, and the is-she isn't-she aspect is really well done, and keeps you guessing right up to the (satisfying) end.

Pitt and Cotillard have very good chemistry (nudge nudge, tabloid readers), and their central love-story really works well. It's a story about love and deception and putting trust in those closest to you, and it's really a good, well structured story and film.
