I've not watched the second series, but it cant be anywhere close to being as atrocious as The Defenders.

By the way, season 2 was adequate. I can't say it was anything great or really good, but the new production team had tried to fix the big issues from the first season, and the relative lack of confidence from Netflix resulted in just 10 episodes being ordered. It helped a lot, as there was much less padding than in most of the other Marvel shows.

I enjoyed it well enough, kind of like you say - not superb, but not a waste of time. At times it felt like more "Iron Fist and Friends"... liked the Mary/Walker character, Misty is always watchable (ahem), but it did seem a harsh swerve that Danny went from being Mr Zen Calm in his Luke Cage cameo to suddenly being all angsty again.
