Blinder Data

I just discovered these guys and they sound incredible.

The sound, I mean. Maybe it's because I'm listening to a vinyl rip on YouTube. Mad to think that this was recorded last year - it sounds like it's come straight from the 70s.

Fans of Big Star, The Band, Neil Young - I think you'll find a lot to like in this.

Fantastic production. It's utterly derivative, but when it's done as well as this it's hard to complain.

Good stuff, but I'm not mad keen on the vocals. I mean, they're not bad, but it makes me think that a lot of what made the artists you mention truly great was their voices.

I have to echo what Eel said. Music is derivative but well executed. However, that vocal register would get on my tits after a while. I am only listening to it through my laptop in built speakers though.

Godawful name for a band.

I'm with science eel.  The music has an enjoyable easy-going quality, but the stuffy, adenoidal tone on the vox is hard to get past.  That No Woman video looks like a bleedin' Timberland advert, by the way.
