For me it's The Future of the Left just last night as I went round to a friend's and he had it on in the background, the song "Singing of the Bonesaws". Fucking loved it.

Also love the album cover to "How to Stop Your Brain in an Accident".

The wasps had me chuckling.

Neomod

As a fan of 'jangle' from back in the day i'm quite taken with Real Estate/Martin Courtney and after hearing them on Comedy Bang Bang, American Football[nb]there's not enough 'mournful trumpet' in pop music these days[/nb].

Thundercat

The first 10 minutes of his album "Drunk" is amazing. Really upbeat and melodic. Then it slides into slow balladry and I switch off. Still the first 10 minutes are burned into my brain and I find myself singing it in my head.

Discovered him a few years ago. He's great, isn't he?

I like The Stepkids at the moment who aren't a million miles away from Thundercat.

Rolling Blackout Coastal Fever, particularly the song The French Press. They are an Australian band that sound a little bit like if The Go-Betweens but rockier

I'm enjoying Thundercat too (and Real Estate but I've been obsessed with them for years).

Priests are my ones at the moment. Their album Nothing Feels Natural is excellent - it's short, punchy and a lot of fun.

Dr Syntax Head

A Methyl Ethyl song that's heavy on the 6 Music playlist is nice enough that'd I'll explore more

I recently delved into the likes of cLOUDDEAD and along the way found this absolute gem

You can't go wrong with a BoC remix

Just bought 1st Stone Roses album and it's brilliant. Money is a bit tight at the moment, so I'm squirrelling away the pennies each week to buy the 2nd album. Wikipedia says "they spent 347 ten-hour days working on Second Coming" My expectations are so high, it's going to immense.

Crabwalk

Thundercat, Real Eatate and Bernardo Feminielli have all featured in my CaB Radio shows so you cats should all board the Crabwalk Express at the next opportunity for more life-altering musical epiphanies.

Epic Bisto

Notekillers - late 70s weird no wave/surf/minimalist combo

No Trend - ever changing weirdos, their first EP and LP are marvellous, and even rival Flipper for their pure hatred of humanity

England - ridiculously obscure mid 70s rockers with some cool guitar work and dubious lyrics

Been feeling like shit recently and have been taking comfort in the music of outlaw-wanderer country songwriter Blaze Foley, who I got to on Spotify through Townes van Zandt. There are no words for the simplicity and beauty of 'If I Could Only Fly' -
