What was your local arcade machine as a kid?

The arcade at the Withernsea holiday camp we used to go to in the 80s was basically a wooden hut with a few fruit machines and all of two arcade games in - gauntlet and spy hunter. If you got bored of those delights though you could take a walk along the cliffs to the main arcades in town where they had a sit down powerdrift, chase hq, afterburner and shinobi. Those were the days.

Haven't read all this so it may have been mentioned. never been very good at games but my mate was fantastic at Wonderboy, which we played in a little room at the back of Terry's Video Shop. Went to Margate for the day and did fuck all but watch him play that.

When we got older it was all fruiters and that brief period when pubs had pinball machines again.

edit: sorry Goldentony!
