Had a look at this last night and got my nightclub set up. Its a real shame this sort of DLC for the game hadn't come out much sooner as its the first addition for GTA Online I've seen which is just all about getting players in together and socialising without trying to kill each other. The dancing mini game is good fun.

Its worth a look anyway.

Tempted to get it for my PS4. I've rinsed hundreds of hours into the single player on PC but I got banned from Online for having a FOV mod in my directory one time too many. PERMANENT BAN, cheers.

I don't actually like online play and I barely touched it when I wasn't banned, so not sure if I'm not just hankering for a New GTA Experience. Red Dead out soonish though.

Seems to be The Sims like, in its business model of "random DLC that plonks weird new things in".

I don't understand the new update.
I spent all my money on the nightclub, did a few missions where you just scream into a lifeless void 'come to my club it's ace', which had no noticeable effect... now what?
I can't hire new staff cos I'm broke, but it doesn't tell me how much money I need to hire another one. If I get more staff do they gather supplies which I can sell off? Does that money go in the vault?
Can I do CEO missions and bring the supplies to the nightclub?
Got some money in the club's vault but it's separate to my balance. Can I withdraw it? Is this what I need to spend in order to hire people?
What's the dancing mini game? I tried it and I just tap 1 button to the beat of the music, nothing happens.
What effect does raising ticket prices have? I raised it and nothing happened.

So far seems like a load of shite.

You can definitely pull some funky moves while dancing. You need to muck about with it more.

I'm not massively up on the rest of it. You only make money from ticket sales when another player wants to come into the club. I think you can bring supplies into the nightclub yes. It functions as a normal warehouse.
As with a lot of things in gaming these days watching youtube tutorials is your best bet.

Get yourself invited to some heists, prove your worth and demand 20% from the leader at the end.

Honestly, the best way to play it is to not worry about making money quick. Theres so much shit to do that earns you money that just learning the game and all it has to offer will make you a fair bit of cash, then you can worry about making the big bucks when youve got the hang of it and find out what activities you prefer.

Certain activities are double rep and cash each week, so grind those. Get the free cars from the web sites. Get a high end apartment so you can do heists. Do Fleeca Job a lot as it only takes two people. Get into CEO, get a Buzzard that you can spawn, do VIP missions like Headhunter and another one I can remember atm,  work towards buying vehicle warehouse, don't bother with crate warehouse, just vehicle warehouse.

Try not to buy the cheapest locations, they're dangerous and crowed.

Oh yeah, and there's also a few vehicles that spawn in which can be sold for a decent amount. Try searching for "farming Sandking XL" on YouTube and you should find a decent guide. That ones a nice easy little loop, and I recall it being right near a garage.

Past 2 days I can't join 95% of games. I try to choose one in the phone and it says 'this invitation is taking longer than usual' then says I can't join.

I managed to join someone's Fleece raid and then he fucked off just before it started. Decided to try take out a guy in a jumbo while on freemode. 10 rockets and numerous explosives and he just took off again.

Trying to join any matches set up by other players just seems to freeze the game. I'm waiting on a Heist setup to load as I'm typing this. Just got a network error. My internet is running fine.

The other thing that's really annoying me is when I'm trying to do something on freemode then I get kicked off and into a session because Rockstar are eyeing up the session with the view to making it a tv channel. What?

Its really hard to play solo at this point, to get the most out of the game you need to be playing with friends really. You can play solo but it involves a lot of waiting, a lot of twats and griefers booting from a completed mission before you get paid, or you have to fuck about with workarounds and cheats to play in an empty lobby, which is against the point of the whole game really. There are so many ridiculous (and awesome) weapons and vehicles to buy that playing in an open lobby is hard, especially to start off with, can't do much against an orbital cannon with your pistol. I'd try some lfg sites to do some heists. Doing those with a good crew is a blast, minimal idiots and a nice payout.

I've heard of that happening on PC sessions (I use a PS4), but it's not actually Rockstar. Some modder's screwing with the lobby and using a built-in Rockstar message.

No idea about your network issues. People leaving heists and other jobs? Yeah, that'll just happen.

As BeardFaceMan points out above, you really just need one or more friends on the same platform. There's a lot you can do in invite-only sessions and the Fleeca heist is a fun and reasonably lucrative intro for a duo.

Had a better day today. Less connection issued but still a bunch of people with ranks in the thousands who are completely clueless. I do well in the races. Probably my main source of income at the momemt.

It is tough. I think my knowledge of the map has helped me get away from annoying players at times though. Seems to be a lot of pissing about from long term players and it just makes it more difficult for new players like myself.

My brother is doing story mode first then he'll do online so I can help him through that and he can join me. Have a couple of friend requests so I'll accept them as well and see how I get on.

I done a speed test on my Xbox and it did seem slower than usual so think that might have been the issue.
