Watching ToTP on BBC4 and listening to the Chartmusic podcast has reminded me that there were many tunes that were a hit back in their day but have gone forgotten by most.

This song "What's The Color of Money" by Hollywood Beyond is a good example, did well in the charts, the song has stayed stuck in my brain for decades, I quite like it but other people seem to have forgotten it.

This used to put a cheer on my day as a kid. I woke up the other day with it in my head and I haven't heard it in at least ten years

I can't listen to this without thinking of that Limmy sketch

I forget which sketch. Remind me

'Every Loser Wins' by Nick Berry was a huge hit, staying at the number one spot for three weeks. And then it dropped out of the charts and it was never played again by anyone, anywhere, ever again.

Not sure it counts as an earworm though because I can't really remember how it goes, although I remember The Colour Of Money very well.
