Glad to see who "diarrhoea devil" was revealed to be - what a surprise! - but you only could work it out in that pause-movie outro-intro where the farted score is Morse code for the characters name

Anyone remember the episode in which Charlton Heston guest starred as the president of the National Rectum Association?

edit: found it - "From My Cold Dead Anus". (s5)

Is this still syndicated? I read somewhere the NBC re-broadcast deal with Paramount/Venture/Alibi ran out in 2017. Will probably turn up on Netflix if that's the case.

I'd love to give them a rewatch, I never got around to it.

Trivia 2 Director Lance Foist had a cameo, Hitchcock-style, in all 245 episodes apart from 1 (Series 5 Episode 19: Lone Anus). In all appearances, his bare arse can be seen in the background, e.g., on Malibu beach, in the cockpit of a Boeing as it taxis at O'Hare, during the autopsy scene in the pilot episode, through the flames in the episode "Burning Ring of Fire".

Is this true? Can any fans confirm?

I am a fan and I confirm.

Can anyone confirm that re-runs of Anus Cop moved from their original 11:20pm slot on BBC2 to the mid-afternoon slot on BBC1 before children's TV (Scholefield and Crane eras)?

Glebe

It used to be on before Tom and Jerry, then the Six O Clock News with Nicholas Witchall.

A 45 minute show in a 30 minute show time - I guess they edited all those gapes and errant penii for this time slot.

Glad I never saw one of these - no messing with the director's vision for me.

Every gape is valid. Every errant penii is artistically worthwhile.

BlodwynPig

You'll of course be well aware that "Errant Penii" was the name of the vicious bumming gang, whose leader Dick Spunky frustratingly eluded Anus Cop from Season 2 through 24.

Bit too young alas, not old enough for "weetabix".

Bought an AC signed cast photo from the 1978 season 2 shoot on eBay though. Must be on a box in my parents' attic somewhere..?

Blatantly ripped off by Jed Mercurio for that last season of Line of Duty. Just because he removed all anal references did he think we wouldn't notice?

You all know what the AC in AC-12 stands for, right?

I don't think you could make that episode any more. Different time, of course.

You'll remember it was revealed it was arses of statues (the episode was filmed entirely in an art museum) and he was given the all clear (whilst dangling from a very tall plinth after another epic chase scene with Anus Cop).

Anus: "I've got you now Cobrowski, give yourself up"

Cobrowski: "Anus, it was 'armless fun! All 'armless fun!"

Anus: "Wait! You mean...you were looking at the arses of the myriad statues scattered throughout this vast museum?!"

Cobrowski: "That's what I was telling you all along. The Venus de Milo is my favourite anus, but she's only alabaster"

Anus: "Give me your hand, buddy. Reach out to me.....No Cobrowski...Nooooooooooo!"

got the blu ray that features "Gapes Gallery: Behind the scenes at the museum of anuses" as an extra.

Epic Bisto

Does the blu-ray include the uncut version of 2 Girls 1 Cop?  Even in its censored form, Gareth Hunt's performance as 'Polyp Schofeld' was definitely memorable.

Just a direct burn from the bootlegged VHS edit sadly. I don't think the original tapes exist after the "porn" pastiche became popular and the copyright holders got nervy about the disgusting association.

No, it's considered mostly "lost" but I think a tarted up version of a fan's VHS recording has been released by the production company. Might be on the bluray
