I would love to see some more Tsai Ming-Liang but I can't find anything on Blu-ray besides Goodbye, Dragon Inn which is great.

I especially want to see Rebels of the Neon God from some stills I've come across.

Anyone come across his stuff anywhere?

I have a copy of Rebels of the Neon God but it's not great quality, can get it to you if you're interested. Been meaning to see that one myself for a while.

Cheers, mouse, that's very kind of you. I'll check out that torrent (cheers SMBH) but I really appreciate the offer!

zomgmouse

Let me know if you need it! I've just found there's a Bluray rip out there pretty well accessible though so you're probably better off with that.

If you can play Region A Blu-rays you can import a box set with Rebels of the Neon God, The River and Vive L'amour from Taiwan. About £40 and has English subtitles, as most Taiwanese releases do.

Have used JSDVD in the past and they have been fine, with delivery in around 2-3 weeks. May also be available from yesasia.com in Hong Kong, though they are quite pricey.

Cheers, Steve. Well spotted and I appreciate the thought. I think I have ordered from them before, maybe Chinese Ghost Story trilogy, so I'll get that ordered depending on how I like the torrented version! Obrigado.

Been looking for Clubbed To Death (1997) for a while. It's not that rare - it had an Artificial Eye VHS release at the time (I wanted to see it originally due to the cool cover, and Beatrice Dalle, but then came of age in the DVD era and forgot all about it, before remembering about it again 15-years later...). It's not available on DVD with English subtitles, and the only version I can find online doesn't have English subtitles either. Hoping there's a rip of that VHS somewhere...

The Yolande Zauberman film? I only ask as it shows 96 on my site.

If so I'll get you a DVD encode.

Small Man Big Horse

I'm not sure if this even exists any more (only 21 people have rated it on imdb) but if anyone can track down the 1932 film They Just Had to Get Married it'd be hugely appreciated as it's the only film Preston Sturges was involved with (and even then his work is uncredited) that I've not seen.

Can't see that on any of my places mate.

Ah, thanks for that, and I can imagine it either is something which has been lost or a print exists but it hasn't been screened in decades as I can't even find any short clips anywhere.

That's the one - it seems to be listed as 96 and 97 in different places. That would be fantastic, thank you!

I'll get it sorted over the weekend for you mate.

long shot but can anyone find this documentary?
Lost and Found: The 73 Knicks Championship Tape
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2883206/

Famous Mortimer

I had a look, and the director (?) of the doc put a trailer on Vimeo, and all the comments are "hey, I'd love to see this, where can I get it?" Best guess is there was some legal shenanigans and it never got more than whatever very limited release it got.

Sebastian Cobb

Thanks for looking, that's pretty much where I ended up as well. I only found out about it because NostalgiaNerd linked this thread:
https://twitter.com/Foone/status/1423369057181454339

Although I was already aware of the system, I think because Techology Connections has actually mentioned it, although it may just've been stock footage while the main subject of a video was something else.

Does anyone have access to Repo Chick? I've found a few but all the public torrents I've tried are stalled with no peers.

Famous Mortimer

I should be able to get it, give me a day or two and I'll PM you a link. I saw one of Alex Cox's later movies (Bill The Galactic Hero) and it was a bit disappointing? So I never bothered with any of his other later stuff.

If you wouldn't mind, that'd be excellent! I'm fully expecting it to be a bit rubbish in all honesty but am kind of curious regardless!

steveh

The trailer is probably all you really need of Repo Chick. I approve the anti-golf sentiment and Cox persisting in the face of negligible budget but it's not a great script, the green screen / CGI work is dire and the actors don't do a great job in dealing with both of those. Still cling to hope that one day Cox will surprise us with something great...

And A Nightingale Sang (1989) - TV play that Jack Rosenthal wrote

Update to say: I think perhaps this might have been a fairly recent upload, which might explain why it was difficult to find earlier

privatefriend

Stork 1971 (Horny oz-ploiter by Alvin Purple director)

Angel Guts: Red Classroom 1979 (Also has a japanese title, think this is mostly a porno)

Border Radio 1987

A few I've been keen to see if I can find them.

Border Radio can be streamed here: https://putlocker2021.net/watch/QvMpwymd-border-radio.html - and is seeded on Pirate Bay too.

I know this will sound a bit arsey but it's often a struggle to maintain a good ratio on private sites, so I'd appreciate if people do actually search for things before making a request as it took me less than 20 seconds to find the above on both sites.
