hi all, sorry if wrong forum, 'tis the first post after all...

cm is fast becoming one of my favourite people working in an artistic field of any kind, let alone in comedy; i've never found another individual who works with wordplay and language in the way that he does. 'blue-flash road-mash' is an unforgettable euphemism.

looking at the archive.org copies of cookd and bomd (eg http://web.archive.org/web/20061008184028/http://chilled.cream.org:80/forums/tdt.php) it seems that there used to be a rather comprehensive archive of information related to cm's work hosted on the site which is now no longer present. given that i am an utter neophyte pon this website i wouldn't be surprised if there's some info buried somewhere on the board that explains this resource's disappearance, altho my trawling hasn't thus far unturfed anything of the sort. so, at last to the query: what happened to the archive, and is it still available anywhere online or on the hard drive of some generous soul that might be willing to share it?

The site got hacked last year and I had to pull everything down. I also don't have and can't afford a computer these days so it's tough to get stuff like this done, but everything is getting rebuilt. You can find a lot of the old files on soulseek.

I'm never going to offer material that's commercially available, and I don't think it would be right to publicise stuff too much on the board itself, but all I'll say is that if you want copies of certain things (the complete set of Blue Jam mp3s have always been popular, for example), drop me a PM as I think I have a way of making them available.  Please bear in mind that I'm not always very timely, but I may eventually deliver if I have the things.

Barry - please delete this post/thread/me if not appropriate etc.

If you were after the actual informational stuff too, a lot of the site regulars who contributed info ended up helping out with Lucian Randall's book Disgusting Bliss, and a few wrote for that academic book No Known Cure, both of which I can throughly recommend. I think a lot of the episode guides etc eventually found their way into Wikipedia and the like.

It occurred to me it's been a while since I explored the site beyond the message board, and I'm just wondering where the Chris Morris archive went to. All the radio shows, etc.

i should've clarified i'm interested mostly in things like interviews, along with assorted rarities (newspaper columns, unorthodox infiltrations of media apparatuses, etc.) - i'm already in possession of, as far as i'm aware, most materials that were broadcast/released.

the phrase 'morris' work' was probably not the most ideal one to use then, was it?

I dunno what's available through the wayback machine, but it's worth a go. Give me a couple of days here and I'll see what I can start getting back online.

Pages from the ukonline iteration of CaB seem to fare better for archive.org recall - here's the Articles page circa mid-2001:

And just for fun, here's (what I'm assuming was) CaB 1.0:

I could access a lot of the Smokehammer stuff through the wayback machine if that's of any help/interest.
