special mention should go to these two parts which always have me grinning like a big dope.

Same here, Buckingham's inevitable "Oh, I can't stay mad at YOU!!!" expression gets me every time.

I do like the background hints of DeAndre and Lindsay Buckingham being best friends despite the fact that Buckingham is continually bumped even at Christmas and on his birthday.

Just one of the many details that make these sketches so delightful.

Giving this a bump to say this sketch made a surprise return this past weekend with a special "at home" version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-g2wfiYmbgo

The ever escalating graphics are the best part of it. Spoilt a bit by the less than convincing acting of the guest feller on the right, and the guest  bloke in the middle getting far too into things.

It was great, and loved how they managed to include Lindsay Buckingham

and that DeAndre will drive past his house to give him a wave on his birthday

Where is Keenan hosting this, looks like the unfinished break room at work, fat Keith told to get his sausage rolls and fags and get out of shot, never mind the badly installed wall-mounted TV, we got to go live

I enjoyed this loads, I really fancied that dancer. Both the guests needed to fuck off though. Especially that bald guy. Terrible shit. Apart from that, brilliant stuff.

That is bad, dear lord, propper unfunny indulgent crap

It's literally the first video in the OP more than 2 years ago.  Welcome to the thread.

No, it is indulgent brilliance. Indulgent in just the right way. There is not much to it apart from the joyful performances but sometimes that is enough

I have to disagree with Mr_Simnock and I did on page 2.

Wow. Utterly magical and utterly addictive.
I can't stop watching them!

up_the_hampipe

Wanted to give this another bump as I've been on a Manuel Ortiz Show binge lately, another recurring SNL gem where the joke is the same every time but it's always very enjoyable.

Here's some examples:

Ah, that's another good one.

Spoilt a bit by the ostensibly pissed off celebs all having a funky dance in their seats at the end, all letting on and getting into it. Even the bloke who played the part of being pissed off for being constantly referred to as Lyndsey Buckingham had a bit of a be seated bop at the end. Spoils the magic. The actor who stayed the most in- character bewildered and pissed off right to the very end in these sketches was Morgan Freeman. Robert De Niro did a decent job of it, too.

Twonty Gostelow

Lovely to see Angus Deayton, Philip Pope and Michael Fenton Stevens though.
